| Among
the exhibits of the Autumn Room, an embroidery
by French born Félicia Ducroquet called The
Bride goes First uses different embroidery techniques
and various thread thicknesses, to give perspective.
In the Summer Room, the luxurious landscapes and
generous colours of Brazilian and Haitian artists show
a bright, dreamlike vision of summer.
In the Spring Room, Canadian painter Cécile
Emond's work Lilac Time is a busy composition made
up of a multitude of different scenes all taking place
in different spaces.
The final Atypical Room, on the upper floor, offers
original, even eccentric representations of spring and
summer where animals and vegetation take on unconventional
forms. |
