Chronicles of a Day
Exhibition 7th September 2004 – 2nd January 2005

Musée International D'Art Naïf

Since Naive Art is a popular art form, it appears natural to recount the passing of a day through the very personal view of each individual artist. You are cordially invited to enter the domain of naive artists and find out how they perceive daily life, from dawn to dusk and beyond.

Many different daytime activities are depicted, mixing the hustle and bustle of city life with the peace and tranquility of the countryside. After sunset we move into the dim, muffled atmosphere of the night before falling into the arms of Morphea and the world of dreams and naive Surrealism.

This exhibition is also aimed at pre-school and primary school children. The Museum provides an educational brochure and discovery pack for these age-groups.
