The International Museum of Naive Art collection numbers 900 pieces, drawn from a private collection of over 1,600 works, purchased by passionate collector Max Fourny during his travels around the world. The remaining 700 pieces were donated to the Halle Saint Pierre museum in Paris.

The works come from every corner of the globe :

The collection contains an incredibly rich variety of techniques and media : oil paint, acrylic, gouache, watercolour, pencil, pastel, iron, cardboard, embroidery, papier mâché, collage, sculpture, low relief... ; canvas, wood, board, paper, glass, cloth...
